September 3, 2011 “TOY FOR LOVE” event

Our kids memorial event was an absolute success! Over 5000 toys were donated to various charities across the country.  It also gave us an opportunity to open a dialogue within communities on child abuse and what we can do to reduce it.  It also gave us a chance to remember all those little ones that have been taken from this world by child abuse.  It is those children and the thousands more who suffer daily that inspire us to do what we can to end child abuse in our country.

We would like to extend a special thanks to the R.S.A. and their president Don McIver for their kindness, generosity and support.  To each of our councils that allowed us to participate in their communities.  We would also like to give very big thank you to all those that donated goods or services to make this event possible.  We would like to thank all the event coordinators and helpers ~ without you this event would not have been possible.

And lastly we would like to thank all of those that came out on the day to place a “TOY FOR LOVE”.
